MP: CM Mohan Yadav transfers incentive amount to 94234 students for laptops; talented students will get more updated laptops from next year


Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that education is the axis of the overall development of man and 'education for all' is the development mantra of the state government. He said that our government has made every effort to bring the light of education to every child of the state. By giving laptops to talented students, we are going to build a better and golden future of the state. 

CM Mohan Yadav was addressing the state level function of laptop incentive amount transfer at Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center in Bhopal on Friday. In the program, CM Mohan Yadav transferred an amount of more than Rs 235 crore to 94,234 meritorious students of the state who scored 75 percent or more marks in class 12th in the academic session 2024-25 to purchase laptops. 

Under the scheme, Rs 25,000 each was transferred to their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) with a single click to buy laptops. CM announced to give more quality updated laptops worth Rs 25 thousand instead of incentive money to talented students from next year. The CM also distributed laptops to 15 meritorious students from the stage. The Chief Minister himself took a selfie and encouraged all the children.

CM Mohan Yadav said that now our students will be able to study better by being equipped with modern technology. Laptop is not just a tool, but it is a powerful medium to prepare for a golden future. With new methods, new skills and new thinking, our children will now be able to move further ahead in the race of competition. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government has also provided copy-books, uniforms, bicycles and scooties to the students and now we are also giving laptops. This step will prove to be very helpful in connecting the students with digital and modern education.

Govt is also supporting brilliant students in higher education

CM said that the government is also providing full support to talented students in higher education after school. The entire fee of medical and engineering studies of brilliant students is being paid by the government. If a student passes the NEET entrance examination, then his medical education becomes free. The state government is paying about 80 lakh rupees fee for the entire course. He said that the government has taken several decisions to strengthen medical education in the state. The CM appealed that the children of the state should study well, move forward but love their home state and have the passion to serve their people. Motherland should always be remembered.



These 15 meritorious students got laptops

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave laptops to meritorious students Priyal Dwivedi (492 marks) of Maihar district, Harsh Pandey (490 marks) of Satna district, Ankur Yadav (489 marks) of Rewa district, Abhay Singh (489 marks) of Sidhi district, Aryan Pandey (488 marks) of Rewa district, Hina Devi (488 marks) of Shahdol district, Nishu Pandit (487 marks) of Bhopal district, Pranjal Kushwaha (487 marks) of Bhopal district, Mr. Hariom Sahu (486 marks) of Chhindwara district, Raghuveer Gautam (484 marks) of Dindori district, Gargi Agrawal (484 marks) of Damoh district, Divyanshu Tiwari (484 marks) of Sidhi district, Deepika Singh (483 marks) of Satna district, Parth Rathore (483 marks) of Sehore district and Yogyata Tank of Bhind district (478 marks). These students have got these marks out of a total of 500 marks. Laptops were provided from the stage to the meritorious students.

Number of students benefiting under the scheme has increased 

In his welcome address, Secretary School Education Dr. Sanjay Goyal said that the number of students under the laptop scheme has increased by more than 4500 this year as compared to last year. This fact proves how well and better education is being imparted in our government schools.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. This state level function was telecast live in all the districts. Ministers, MPs, MLAs and District Panchayat Presidents participated as chief guests in the district level programs and shared the happiness of meritorious students getting money for laptops.



Students expressed their gratitude to the CM

The students were very happy on getting laptops under the Laptop Praday Yojana to the meritorious students and thanked the MP Government and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav from the bottom of their hearts for this. 

Nishu Pandit, a student of Subhash Excellence School, said, "I have secured a place in the state merit list with 97 percent marks in class 12th. My goal is to become a CA, for which I need the support of technology. Today I have received an amount of 25 thousand rupees from the Chief Minister, which I will use to buy a laptop. This will contribute greatly to my studies. Many thanks to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav ji."

Pranjal Kushwaha, a student of the same school, who secured fourth place in the state merit list under the commerce faculty, also received a laptop from the Chief Minister and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to him. He said, "I am preparing for CA. For this, this laptop will prove to be very helpful to me in online classes and making notes."

11 girl students of PM Shri Government Naveen Kanya Higher Secondary School of Bhopal district have also received the laptop amount. On receiving the amount, Simran Paithari, Urmila Saini, Kanchan More, Shivani, Jainswi Sharma, Payal Salve, Siya Yadav, Hemlata Meena, Asha Badole, Priyank Gaur and Vicky Bharilla have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
