Gopal Khemka Murder Case: A big revelation has been made in the murder case of Patna's famous businessman Gopal Khemka. Police investigation has revealed that the conspiracy of this murder was hatched by none other than businessman Ashok Shah. Due to a long-standing dispute over land worth crores, he planned to eliminate Khemka by giving a contract of Rs 4 lakh. SSP Kartikeya Sharma said that all the accused are in police custody.

Patna Police revealed that Ashok Shah had given a contract of Rs 4 lakh to notorious shooter Umesh Yadav, out of which Rs 50 thousand was given in advance. The rest of the amount was to be given after the murder. Police got many important clues on the basis of secret information and taking timely action, Umesh Yadav was arrested from the city on Sunday. During interrogation, he gave information about the entire conspiracy, due to which the layers of the case started opening up.

Land dispute was the motive behind crime

According to the police, there was tension between Ashok Shah and Gopal Khemka over land for years. The property business of both was clashing with each other and many times there was a situation of legal dispute. To end this enmity, Ashok Shah conspired to kill Khemka.

When the police raided Ashok Shah's hideouts, many important documents, land related papers and transaction receipts were recovered from there. This made it clear that the matter is not just a personal rivalry, but is deeply connected to the property mafia. The police are now investigating Ashok Shah's other property disputes and criminal network through these documents.
