RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has called Supreme Court's interim order on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar a 'victory of democracy'.

Tejashwi Yadav said, "After the arguments in the Supreme Court today, we can say that democracy has won. We welcome the interim order."

Tejashwi Yadav said that all the opposition parties left no stone unturned in fighting the SIR on any platform.

He said, "Our demands regarding the SIR process have been accepted by the Supreme Court today."

Tejashwi said further, "The Election Commission has been ordered to validate the Aadhaar card, the list of the names of the 65 lakh voters whose names were deleted will be displayed at the booth level along with the reasons and people will be informed about this by issuing advertisements."

Tejashwi Yadav said that he was not opposing SIR, but his opposition was about its process.

He said, "Our opposition was about the information which the Election Commission was trying to hide."
