Former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly wrote on Instagram, "Great performance by Team India. Test cricket is the best format ever. Congratulations to all the players and coaching staff, led by Shubman Gill. Siraj has never disappointed this team in any corner of the world. Watching him play is no less than a treat. Prasidh, Akashdeep and Jaiswal also did a great job."
Sachin Tendulkar, emphasizing the thrill of Test cricket, wrote about this victory, "Test cricket… a completely hair-raising experience. Series 2–2, performance 10 out of 10! India's supermen! What a great victory."
