Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party is actively working to create a mass movement against the Election Commission and the BJP. On August 7, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, held a press conference where he detailed five types of alleged vote theft. Following this, a protest march was organized in which 300 MPs from the India Alliance participated. On Tuesday, India Alliance MPs demonstrated outside Parliament once again.

In the next phase of their campaign, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has called for an emergency meeting in Delhi. This meeting aims to discuss a nationwide campaign against voter list manipulation and electoral fraud.

Key figures, including Congress general secretaries, state in-charges, and heads of major organizations, have been invited. Among those who are likely to attend include Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Sachin Pilot, KC Venugopal, Kumari Selja, and other senior leaders.

NSUI, YC conduct protest march

Earlier, workers from the National Students Union of India (NSUI) conducted a protest march from their headquarters in Delhi to Jantar Mantar, voicing their concerns against the Election Commission over alleged voter list manipulation. This protest was a response to Rahul Gandhi's ongoing accusations of "vote theft." Additionally, Youth Congress workers organized a 'Halla Bol March' in the national capital, during which several protesters were detained by the Delhi Police.

Rahul Gandhi has raised questions about the Election Commission's impartiality, asserting that the commission has neglected its responsibilities. He emphasized that the Congress is dedicated to upholding the Constitution, stating, "One person, one vote is the basis of the Constitution. It is the duty of the Election Commission to implement one person, one vote, but they have not performed their duty. We are protecting the Constitution, and we will continue to do it."
