Men's Asia Cup-2025: India to face Pakistan in Dubai on Sep 14; archrivals may clash again on Sep 21 in Super-4 match, see full schedule
Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday announced the venue for the Men's Asia Cup-2025 matches. However, the schedule had already been announced.
The Asia Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28. The group match between India and Pakistan in the tournament will be played at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday (September 14). The teams of India and Pakistan are in the same group in the tournament.
India, Pakistan may face each other again in the Super 4 match
In such a situation, they are expected to face each other again in the Super 4 match on Sunday (September 21) as Group A topper will clash with Group A runner up in the Super-4. India, Pakistan match in Super-4 will take place if they stay at top two places in the Group A.
India's first match with UAE on Sep 10
India, Pakistan, Oman and UAE have been placed in the same group. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong are in Group B. All the teams in the group will play one matche each against each other. India will face UAE on September 10, Pakistan on 14 and Oman on 19.
If India and Pakistan make it to the Super-4 stage, then both the teams will once again face each other on September 21. The final of the tournament will be played on September 28. If India and Pakistan top the Super-4 stage, then there could be a third match between the two in the tournament.
Asia Cup 2023 was hosted by Pakistan. However, India refused to tour Pakistan due to security reasons, then it was played in a hybrid model. All of India's matches were held in Sri Lanka. India won the Asia Cup 2023 title by defeating Sri Lanka.
