What action IndiGo took against man who slapped co-passenger on flight?
IndiGo Airlines has banned a man from flying who slapped a co-passenger on one of its flights from Mumbai to Kolkata.
The airline issued a statement on Thursday saying, "After a thorough investigation, the complaint of the passenger involved in indisciplined behavior has been forwarded to the concerned authorities for necessary action. As part of our commitment that such behavior cannot be encouraged on flights."
"The person concerned has been suspended from traveling on any IndiGo flight, as per the provisions of the regulator."
This incident took place on Thursday, July 31, in IndiGo flight number 6E138 which was going from Mumbai to Kolkata.
This matter received sharp reactions and criticism from social media users.
Media reports are claiming that the person who was slapped had fallen ill and the cabin crew was helping him when another passenger suddenly slapped him.
