Garuda AI bike: An AI bike made by engineering students of Surat has become a topic of discussion on social media these days. It has been named 'Garuda' after the name of Lord Vishnu's ride. This bike looks exactly like Hollywood science-fiction films and is attracting people.
Engineering students did miracle
Surat's mechanical engineering students Shivam, Gurpreet and Ganesh have together designed this AI bike. The special thing is that this bike can be driven in both manual mode and auto mode (without a driver). It has 4 cameras and many advanced sensors which prove helpful in terms of safety. Also, the bike has a GPS system and easy charging facility at home.
Most of the parts were made by the students themselves
The special thing about this bike is that 70% of its parts have been made by the students themselves at the workshop or bought from the junk market. The bike was designed by Gurpreet, editing was handled by Ganesh, while technical assembling was led by Shivam. It cost about Rs 1,80,000 to prepare this bike and it took about a year to make it.
Gives a range of about 220 km on a single full charge
The 'Garuda' AI bike is capable of giving a range of about 220 km on a single full charge. Wireless charging facility has also been provided in it, which makes it even more high-tech. However, no official information has been revealed so far about the capacity of the motor and battery installed in it.
This is just a demo project: Students
This AI bike has not only highlighted the creativity of the students, but has also proved that the youth in India have tremendous enthusiasm for innovation and technology. Students say that - "This is just a demo project, our goal is to make it even better in the coming time."
