Three die, 12 injured as three-story building collapses in Indore's Ranipura area

Indore: A major accident occurred in Indore around 9 pm on Monday night. A three-story building collapsed in the Ranipura area of ​​the city. Three people, including a young woman, were killed and 12 others injured, including a three-month-old baby girl. Four of the injured are in critical condition.

Collector Shivam Verma stated that Alfia (20), daughter of Rafiuddin, and Faheem died in the accident. Alfia was taken out from the debris at around 1:30 am, while Faheem's body was recovered around 4 am on Tuesday. So far three bodies have been recovered. All the injured have been admitted to MY Hospital.

Many public representatives and officials including the Mayor reached the spot. As soon as the information about the accident was received, many police and administration officials including Collector Shivam Verma and Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh reached the spot. Along with the Municipal Corporation officials, many public representatives including Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and BJP MLA Golu Shukla also reached there.

According to reports, four families lived in this three-story building. Nine of them had gone to a relative's house, while 14 were buried under the debris. The house belongs to Sammu Baba and is approximately 10-15 years old. It is also being reported that the rain caused cracks in the building. The basement of the house was often filled with water, which is why it collapsed.

The electricity company switched off the lights of the area. The rescue team cut the power lines so that the rescue could be done quickly.
