'It's sad to miss out on a century'
After the match, Abhishek's sister Komal said, "It's sad to miss out on a century, but it's part of the game, and I'm sure he'll score a century in this tournament."
Abhishek's mother, Manju Sharma, was also disappointed that he missed out on the century.
After the match, she said, "Abhishek played well again, but he missed out on a century... It's okay, there will be more matches to come." Abhishek also missed out on a century against Pakistan.
Once again, Abhishek Sharma's batting prowess was such that he was named Player of the Match for the second consecutive match.
During his innings of 75 runs off just 37 balls, Abhishek became the first Indian cricketer to score 500 runs this year and also set several other records.
