Bihar Assembly Election 2025: Jan Suraj Party leader Prashant Kishor has expressed his intention to contest the upcoming elections against both Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Speaking at the 'Bihar Tak' conclave, Kishor said, "If Nitish Kumar contests the elections, I will contest against him."

He clarified that the decision to contest ultimately lies with the party's ticket committee, which consists of 35 members. Kishor said he is not part of that committee. "I want to contest the elections, but it is up to the party to decide whether I contest or not," he noted.

When asked about the electoral constituency he would like to contest from, Kishor said, "If Nitish Kumar contests, I would like to contest against him. But these people come from the back door."

He added, "If Nitish Kumar contests the elections, I will definitely contest the elections whether the ticket committee agrees to my contesting or not."

Kishor also expressed his desire to contest against Tejashwi

Kishor also expressed his desire to contest against Tejashwi Yadav from Raghopur, stating, "A person should contest elections from only two places, Janmabhoomi or Karmabhoomi." He explained his reasoning, saying, "If you look at the birthplace, Karhagar is in Sasaram, and if you look at the place of work, then Raghopur should be the place of work in Bihar. If I contest the election, I will contest from Raghopur; what is the point of contesting from any other place?"
