Bihar Assembly Elections-2025: Intensifying preparations for the Bihar assembly elections, BJP national president JP Nadda chaired a meeting of the party's Bihar unit's core committee in Patna on Saturday. Senior leaders including organization general secretary BL Santosh and state president Dilip Jaiswal were present in the meeting.
After the meeting, Dilip Jaiswal said that the main focus of the discussion was the upcoming elections, in which emphasis was laid on strengthening the NDA alliance and reaching out to every voter. BJP President JP Nadda could not meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Nitish has not attended any public event since Sept 10
According to sources, the meeting was postponed due to Nitish Kumar's ill health. Nitish has not attended any public event since September 10. This is the reason why Nadda left for Delhi from Patna without meeting him. The Election Commission may announce the dates for the Bihar assembly elections in early October.
PM coming to Bihar on September 15
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi is coming to Bihar on September 15 to inaugurate the Purnia airport. Before the elections, the BJP and its allies want to give the message that the NDA is completely united and is preparing a strategy to respond to any attack by the opposition.

Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said that the strategy for the assembly elections was discussed in detail in the party's core committee meeting. NDA workers have been instructed to reach out to every voter, for this special programs should be run.
Jaiswal said that the image of the NDA government solving every problem has reached the people, which is giving a positive message. In the meeting, NDA workers were also instructed to prepare a list of development works at the regional level.
Seva Pakhwada to be launched
Dilip Jaiswal clarified that the matter of seat sharing will be decided in the meeting of the top leadership of the NDA. He said, 'In today's meeting, emphasis was laid on making the NDA alliance more sharp. In particular, it was announced to start Seva Pakhwada on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.'
BJP's Bihar State President Dilip Jaiswal said that party workers will reach every booth with the government's schemes.
