Vaishali Rameshbabu of India has won the FIDE Women's Grand Swiss 2025. She has won this title for the second time in a row.
According to the International Chess Federation, with this victory, Vaishali has confirmed her place in Women's Candidates 2026.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, congratulated Vaishali Rameshbabu for winning the FIDE Women’s Grand Swiss 2025. "Her passion and dedication are exemplary. Best wishes for her future endeavours", Shri Modi stated.
