Delhi girl quits bank PO job, says mental peace is more important than salary
In today's era, where government job is considered a symbol of stable career and respect, a girl from Delhi has taken a shocking decision. This girl quit the job of Probationary Officer (PO) in Punjab National Bank.
Sharing a video, she told that this job proved to be very tiring for her mentally and gradually she lost her cheerfulness and peace. In this video going viral on social media, the girl clearly said that now she has decided to give priority to her mental peace over salary.
Got first posting in Meerut
The name of this girl is Vani, who is 29 years old. She passed the IBPS exam in the year 2022 and after a year of training, she was appointed as a Scale-I officer in Meerut. There she was assigned loan related work. Vani said in the video that even though the job gave her financial independence, the work pressure was so high that she started breaking down from within.
Job became a burden, peace ended
Vaani told that her mental condition started deteriorating due to constant targets and responsibilities in the banking sector. This job gradually became a burden for her. She said that the work environment was becoming 'thankless' and 'toxic', due to which she was getting away from herself.
Personality changed in three years
Sharing her experience, Vaani told that the job completely changed her personality. Earlier she was happy and calm, but within three years she became irritable and angry. She said that she realized that now the time has come to give priority to her mental health instead of running after money.
Do not want to discourage anyone
At the end of the video, Vaani also clarified that her intention is not to discourage anyone. She said that everyone's experience can be different, but she shared her story so that people understand that the job should not be only for salary, but also for living a balanced life. He said that leaving the wrong place at the right time gives more relief than any regret.
