Megha Ray, who plays Divya in Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, shared, “Being a Bengali, Durga Puja has always been very special to me. Growing up, my family and I would celebrate it by visiting pandals and enjoying the delicious food served there. It was always an amazing experience to see the huge Durga idol.”
'Keeping the Navratri fast is not common in Bengal'
Megha said, “Even now, whenever possible, I make sure to visit Durga pandal for at least one day with my mother. Keeping the Navratri fast is not common in Bengal, but my mother has adapted to the traditions of the places where she has lived. She has been observing the Navratri fast for many years, and seeing her do it alone made me want to join her. When I was given her company for the first time, it was the most special memory for me.”
Megha Ray said that this year, because of her busy shooting schedule, she couldn’t do fast. “But I will definitely celebrate Durga Puja with the time I have”, she added.”
