Gold and silver prices reached an all-time high on 12 September. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of gold has increased by Rs 744 to 1,09,841. A day earlier its price was 1,09,097 per 10 grams.

Silver price rose by Rs 2,849 to Rs 1,27,348 per kg. On September 11, the price of one kg silver was Rs 1,24,499.

Gold had made an all-time high of Rs 1,09,635 and silver 1,24,770 on 9 September.

Gold became costlier by Rs 33,000 this year

So far this year, the price of gold has increased by Rs 33,679 (40%). On December 31, 2024, 10 grams of 24 carat gold was worth Rs 76,162, which has now become Rs 1,09,841.

The price of silver has also increased by Rs 41,331 during this period. On December 31, 2024, the price of one kg of silver was Rs 86,017, which has now become Rs 1,27,348 per kg.
