Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav responded to PM Modi's allegations at an election rally in Bihar.
Tejashwi wrote on the social media platform, "Whenever Modi comes to Bihar, he comes wearing the glasses of hatred and determined to break his own record of lying."
Tejashwi Yadav said, "During the 20 years of NDA rule, 70,000 innocent people have been brutally murdered in Bihar under the protection of the ruling party. The central government's NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau) data confirms this."
At an election rally on Friday, Tejashwi Yadav said, "A nine-year-old girl was raped here. They took her to the hospital (PMCH), but couldn't find a bed for four hours, and the poor girl died. Is this development, is this good governance?"
Tejashwi said, "Did anyone come to wipe away tears? How many times have you seen the Chief Minister (Nitish Kumar) visit a victim's home?"
Earlier, PM Narendra Modi had claimed at an election rally in Samastipur, Bihar, "NDA means good governance, NDA means service to the people, NDA means guaranteed development."
He alleged that Bihar was freed from 'jungle raj' in October 2005 after the NDA government was formed.
