The BJP has released its second list of candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections-2025.

The list includes 12 names, with Maithili Thakur being given the ticket from Alinagar. She is well-known for her singing of songs, classical songs, and bhajans.

Just a day earlier, Maithili Thakur joined the BJP in Patna and stated that she was impressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and, inspired by Nitish Kumar, was standing in support of him.

This list includes two Scheduled Caste and two women candidates.

Ranjan Kumar has been given the ticket from Muzaffarpur, while former IPS officer Anand Mishra has been given the ticket from Buxar.

Earlier on Tuesday, the BJP released its first list of 71 names.

In addition to Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, several sitting MLAs were not given tickets.
