Tejashwi Yadav made a big announcement on Thursday, ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. He said that every family in Bihar without a government job will be given one through a new law.
He promised that if his party wins, they will enact this law within 20 days and ensure that every household in Bihar has a government job within 20 months.
Tejashwi said that in 2020, he promised to provide jobs to 10 lakh people once they were in power. He criticized the current Chief Minister for questioning this promise and pointed out that after two years in office, no jobs have been created by him.
I keep my promises: Tejashwi
He stated, "I keep my promises. We need to move Bihar forward. When people get jobs, all their needs will be met. The current government has created fear about unemployment for 20 years."
Tejashwi explained that they will create jobs by building industries, educational cities, IT parks, and boosting agriculture and dairy sectors in Bihar.
He also said that the current government has not recognized unemployment as a big problem and claimed that his party created jobs in 17 months when they were in power.

Tejashwi acknowledged that some people might doubt his job promise but assured that they have collected data and conducted surveys to support their plan. He vowed to show that he is dedicated to Bihar and will provide a truthful and honest government.

In response, Prashant Kishor slammed Tejashwi, saying he is promising jobs to 3.5 crore people, even though only 26.5 lakh people in Bihar have government jobs. He believes the people of Bihar can tell who is being truthful and who is not, and this time they will vote for their children's future.
