Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: What Jitan Ram Manjhi said while announcing to field candidates against Chirag Paswan's LJP-R

Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Despite the seat-sharing arrangement within the NDA for the Bihar elections, a friendly fight continues. NDA ally and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that he will field candidates against Chirag Paswan's LJP-R in Bodhgaya and Makhdumpur

Responding to a question, Manjhi said, "When the decision has already been made, why is someone else fielding candidates on the seats allotted to the JDU?"

Manjhi said, "I agree with Nitish Kumar's statement, his anger is justified. Agreeing with him, I will also field candidates on two seats."

Regarding the candidate list, Manjhi said, "The list of HAM candidates is ready. The NDA will win with a majority."

It is being reported that in the NDA's seat-sharing arrangement, one or two of Jitan Manjhi's (HAM) seats are going to Chirag's LJP-R. A tug-of-war has begun over this. However, the NDA has not yet released the list of candidates for any of its allies except the BJP. The BJP released its first list of 71 candidates today (Tuesday).

The seat-sharing arrangement within the NDA was announced on October 12th, with the BJP and JDU receiving 101 seats each, Chirag Paswan's LJP-R receiving 29, and Jitan Manjhi's HAM and Upendra Kushwaha's RLM receiving six seats each. Manjhi and Kushwaha expressed dissatisfaction with the six seats each for HAM and RLM. Manjhi had claimed 15 seats, while Kushwaha claimed 24. However, both were given six seats each.
