In the recent incident, a 46-year-old businessman from Jalgaon was targeted. According to police, the businessman frequently travels to Mumbai for work. Recently, he arrived at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) where a woman outside the station offered him sexual services for 500 rupees.
The woman took the businessman by taxi to Girgaon and invited him to a building near a hotel. Another woman was already present in the room. As soon as the businessman entered, the women suddenly started accusing him of recording obscene videos. At that very moment, three more women entered.

The victim was then forced to unlock his phone and 22 lakh rupees were transferred through a mobile app. Furthermore, the accused women also extorted Rs 13,000 in cash from him, threatening to publicly defame him.

The businessman initially remained silent out of fear, but on September 30, he filed a complaint with the VP Road police. The investigation confirmed the online transfer and recovered CCTV footage. Police stated that the arrested women are Majida Noor Sardar Gazi, Rupa Vishwanath Das, and Nasimma Zaman Sheikh. All three were remanded in police custody for two days.
