Indore's film director, music director, writer, actor and singer Palash Muchhal will soon tie the knot with star cricketer Smriti Mandhana. Palash confirmed this in Indore on Friday and said that Smriti will soon become Indore's daughter-in-law.

Palash Muchhal is the younger brother of singer Palak Muchhal.

Media reports have speculated that Muchhal and Mandhana have been in a relationship for a long time. The couple has often been seen together in many pictures that have surfaced on social media.

Muchhal is originally from Indore. When asked about his special attachment to Mandhana and his memories with her during a "face-to-face" program at the State Press Club in his hometown, he told reporters, "She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore...that's all I want to say."

Muchhal said this while Mandhana, the host team's vice-captain and opening batsman, is in Indore for the ICC Women's One Day World Cup match against England on October 19.

Muchhal said, "My best wishes are with Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana. We always want the Indian cricket team to win every match and bring glory to the country."

Muchhal is in Indore for the shooting of Raju Bajewala

Muchhal is in Indore for the shooting of his directorial venture, "Raju Bajewala." Avika Gor, famous for the TV serial "Balika Vadhu," and Chandan Roy, known for the web series "Panchayat," play lead roles in the film.

Palash said, "It's been a longing to shoot the entire film in Indore for years. The film will showcase all the iconic locations and streets of Indore because I love Indore. I've lived here for ten years, and Indore lives within me."

Palash explained that he always wants to make subject-driven, clean, and message-driven films.

The film "Raju Bandwala" is based on the lives, emotions, and ups and downs of band players. Several film stars will also make cameos, and several music stars will also pay tribute to the band baja industry.

People of Indore are very cooperative

Palash stated that while Indore lacks technical resources for filmmaking, it has no shortage of good locations. The people of Indore are so cooperative that filmmaking is easily possible here.

He is also planning to start a production house in Indore. After the completion of the first fifteen-day shooting schedule of the film "Raju Band Wala," the second schedule will take place in Indore in December. The film will be released on a leading OTT platform in April next year.
