RJD leader and former Chief Minister of Bihar, Rabri Devi, has blessed both her sons (Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav) for the elections.
Rabri Devi said, "My mother wishes both sons well. He (Tej Pratap Yadav) is fighting on his own two feet, and both are blessed."
Speaking to reporters at a polling station, she said, "I appeal to all voters to vote."
Indeed, after being expelled from the RJD, Tej Pratap Yadav has formed his own party. His party is called 'Janshakti Janata Dal'.
Tej Pratap is contesting from the Mahua constituency, and Mukesh Roshan is the RJD candidate who won this seat last time.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and the Grand Alliance's chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, cast his vote in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections-2025.
Speaking to reporters after casting his vote, he said, "We will only say change, create a new Bihar, form a new government."
Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan, also known as Lalan Singh, said after casting his vote, "This is a grand festival of democracy, and we should all vote. First, vote, then refreshments."
He said, "There is no problem anywhere. The NDA government will be formed again in Bihar with full strength under the leadership of Nitish Kumar."
