From the Reel World to Political Arena: Why RJD Leader Seema Kushwaha's Viral Tweets Have Shocked Both Her Supporters and Opponents
Bihar politics has been rocked by a unique kind of upheaval following the election results. A social media post by a prominent Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader has created a stir in political circles. RJD leader Seema Kushwaha posted four highly emotional tweets in quick succession, shocking both her supporters and opponents. She wrote in a desperate tone, "Whoever is cursing me, stop now, I am completely ruined." Her painful confession has sparked debate online.
Justice remains confined to books
Seema Kushwaha's anger and frustration were not limited to her personal ruin; she also sharply criticized the system. In her next post, she wrote that when bribery becomes the only way, justice remains confined to books. This comment directly questions the current system and electoral process. She then shared a photo of a shoe shop and wrote that struggle is necessary to progress in life, and that a person has to endure every hardship God has ordained, because troubles cannot be sold in the market. These four posts clearly indicate that the election results and internal party dynamics have left her devastated.
Seema is a social media star
Seema Kushwaha, a resident of Kochas in Rohtas district, is known not only as a leader but also as a social media star. She has over 21 lakh followers on Facebook and Instagram, making her Bihar's "digital leader." Famous for her reels and outspoken style, Seema is often in the news for her beauty and style, which is often compared to Bollywood actresses.
Seema, who entered politics after winning the Zila Parishad election, joined Tejashwi Yadav's RJD after Upendra Kushwaha's RLSP and Mukesh Sahni's VIP Party. Her husband, Manu Kushwaha, stands by her in every decision.
Was assigned the responsibility of a star campaigner
Seema Kushwaha's political journey has been filled with struggles. She was considered a strong contender for the Sasaram seat in the 2025 assembly elections, but instead of making her a candidate, the party leadership assigned her the responsibility of a star campaigner.
She had previously expressed her pain over not receiving the ticket in a video message, saying that the path of politics is not easy for a woman, but her journey will not stop. After holding rallies for Tejashwi Yadav and seeking votes for Khesari Lal Yadav in Chhapra, her viral tweets now reveal where she finds herself, between the realities of politics and the hope for justice.
