MP: 108-foot-tall Shiva statue will be installed in Shivpuri, Union Minister Scindia gives his consent on request of Baba Bageshwar Dham


Shivpuri: At the request of Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Baba Bageshwar Dham, regional MP and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia attended his Katha on Thursday evening and agreed to the proposal to install a 108-foot-tall Shiva statue in Shivpuri.

In a press conference, Pandit Shastri stated that Shivpuri is the city of Shiva and a massive 108-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva should be installed here. He said that the construction of the Shiv Dham will further strengthen Shivpuri's identity. Pandit Shastri also said that Scindia takes special care of the people of his area and provides immediate assistance to anyone in need.

Speaking from the stage at the Katha site, responding to Pandit Shastri's request, Scindia said that the roots of Indian culture lie in our saints, sages, and spiritual traditions. He said that the work being done by saints for social harmony and spiritual awakening among youth is extremely important in today's times. He assured that a 108-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva will soon be installed in Shivpuri.
