At launch, it was the world's most expensive feature phone. Vertu was founded by Nokia in 1998. In 2012, it was sold to a private company. In 2017, it was acquired by the Chinese company Godin Holdings. Vertu phones start at $4,000. Each phone offers 24/7 customer service.

According to Vertu, this phone is completely hand-designed. This means no machines were used anywhere. The design was created by the French jewelry company Boucheron. The phone features a cobra design around the body. The snake-shaped body is studded with 439 ruby stones. Two emerald stones are placed in the cobra's eyes. The phone has 388 parts, all of which were assembled by hand.
Keypad Phone
This is a keypad phone. It offers basic calling and messaging. You can't use its touchscreen. Apps can't be installed on it. You can't use the internet. You can't use the camera or video calling on the phone. This is the first time a phone has been delivered by helicopter. At launch, the company took Rs 12,934 as a down payment. The phone was delivered after the remaining amount was paid. Vertu produced only 8 units of the phone. One unit was reserved for China.
This phone is priced at $ 3,60,000, which translates to approximately Rs 2.3 crore in Indian rupees. It's so expensive because of precious stones like ruby and emerald. The phone's body is made of titanium.
