Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the "PM Shri Heli Tourism Service" from Bhopal on the state's 70th Foundation Day to enhance air connectivity in the state and provide quick, convenient, and safe travel to tourists. This service is set to usher Madhya Pradesh into a new era of air tourism.

Ensuring fast and seamless air connectivity between spiritual, eco-tourism, and wildlife tourism destinations, regular operations will commence on November 20. The new facility will allow tourists to reach more destinations in less time and expand the state's tourism potential. 

The most significant feature of this service is that travel to Ujjain and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga will now take just 20–40 minutes, while the journey from Bhopal to Pachmarhi will also take just one hour. Spiritual Sector: Ujjain-Omkareshwar Darshan Now Available in Minutes, at Affordable Fares

Under the spiritual sector, the Indore-Ujjain-Omkareshwar route has been added. The estimated fare for a 20-minute flight from Indore to Ujjain is Rs 5,000, for a 40-minute flight from Ujjain to Omkareshwar is Rs 6,500, and for a return flight from Omkareshwar to Indore is approximately Rs 5,500. Through this route, devotees will be able to easily visit both Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar Jyotirlingas in a single day.

Eco-Tourism Sector: Easy, Fast, and Affordable Air Services from Bhopal-Madhai-Pachmarhi

In the eco-tourism sector, the estimated fare for a 40-minute flight from Bhopal to Madhai is ₹4,000, and for a 20-minute flight from Madhai to Pachmarhi is Rs 3,000. Additionally, a one-hour direct flight from Bhopal to Pachmarhi will be available, at a fare of Rs 5,000 per passenger. Joy-rides will also be available in Pachmarhi, making the nature-based experience even more appealing.

Wildlife Sector: Faster Air Access to Key Destinations, Including Jabalpur-Kanha-Bandhavgarh

In the wildlife sector, Jabalpur has been connected to Kanha and Bandhavgarh. The fare for a flight from Jabalpur to Maihar will be Rs 5,000, Maihar to Chitrakoot ₹2,500, Jabalpur to Kanha Rs 6,250, Bandhavgarh Rs 3,750, and a one-hour flight to Amarkantak will cost Rs 5,000. This faster connectivity will allow tourists to visit more destinations in less time.

Heritage Sector: Access to Satna-Rewa Easier

The previously operational PM Shri Air Tourism Service has made air connectivity between Bhopal and Satna, Rewa, Singrauli, and Khajuraho even faster, easier, and more convenient. With affordable fares and regular flights, this air service is boosting regional tourism and strengthening the local economy, employment, and cultural activities.
