What did Congress leader Pawan Khera say about alleged attack on Vijay Sinha's convoy? Lakhisarai DM gave this information
Congress leader Pawan Khera has responded to the alleged attack on Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha's convoy in Lakhisarai.
Pawan Khera said, "The administration belongs to them. We have been saying repeatedly that your hooliganism is going on, and now it must be ended. Today, you yourself have become a victim of that hooliganism because the people are also angry."
Pawan Khera said, "We are against violent resistance or protest because we are the party that drove out the British by protesting without violence. So, we are against violence, but there is protest. When you close all doors of protest, it is obvious that anger will be seen on the streets, which was seen today."
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha alleged that his convoy was attacked in a village in Lakhisarai on Thursday.
Using the word 'attack' for this incident would not be appropriate: DM
Lakhisarai District Magistrate Mithilesh Mishra said, "Using the word 'attack' for this incident would not be appropriate."
According to him, local people protested and raised slogans. He said that the matter is being investigated.
DM said, "The Deputy CM visited a village, where local people protested and raised slogans. We saw cow dung thrown on his vehicle."
Mithilesh Mishra stated, "There was no physical assault. There were no injuries. There was no damage to the vehicle. There was public anger, as it was election time. The village road had not been built, so people protested."
According to the DM, the voting process was peaceful and further action will be taken in the case involving Vijay Kumar Sinha based on eyewitness accounts.
The DM also stated that only a verbal complaint has been filed that Vijay Kumar Sinha was prevented from entering the village. The entire matter is being investigated.
