MP: Indigo Airlines flight from Rewa to Indore from this date

Bhopal: Direct flight service from Rewa to Indore will commence on December 22. An Indigo Airlines flight will depart from Rewa Airport for Indore on December 22. 

Deputy CM Shukla visited Rewa Airport and reviewed the preparations for the grand launch. He held detailed discussions with officials from the airport and Indigo Airlines, who had arrived from Delhi and Mumbai, regarding arrangements, passenger facilities, and operations.

On this occasion, Shukla said that the Rewa-Indore air service will give new impetus to connectivity in the Vindhya region and strengthen opportunities for development, trade, and tourism. This will provide better facilities to thousands of citizens of the Vindhya region residing in Indore and will offer direct connectivity to cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore from Indore airport. 

Shukla said that this air service will also benefit citizens of Satna, Sidhi, Shahdol, Mauganj, and other areas of the Vindhya region in terms of trade, business, and education for students. 

Air India adds extra flights on Bhopal–Bengaluru Route

Meanwhile, considering the rising number of passengers, Air India has announced additional flights on the Bengaluru–Bhopal–Bengaluru sector. This special service will operate for a limited period from December 14, 2025, to December 19, 2025, further strengthening air connectivity between Raja Bhoj Airport, Bhopal, and Bengaluru, a major hub in South India.

As per the schedule released by Air India, the additional flight AI 3391 will depart from Bengaluru at 2:30 pm and arrive in Bhopal the same afternoon. The return flight, AI 3392, will depart from Bhopal at 3:05 pm for Bengaluru. The extra flights have been introduced to cater to increased passenger demand during the festive season and peak business travel period.

At present, IndiGo Airlines operates two daily flights on the Bhopal–Bengaluru route, with the number rising to three on Saturdays and Sundays. With Air India’s additional service, passengers will have access to up to four daily flights on this route between December 14 and 19. This move is expected to provide greater flexibility, improved travel options, and enhanced convenience for flyers.
