What Imran Khan's sister told about her brother after meeting him in jail?
Pakistan: Following protests by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) outside the Islamabad High Court and Adiala Jail, former Prime Minister Imran Khan's sister, Uzma Khan, was granted permission to meet her brother.
A PTI spokesperson and an Adiala Jail official confirmed that Uzma Khan has been granted permission to meet Imran Khan.
On Tuesday, when Imran Khan's three sisters, Aleema Khanum, Naureen Niazi, and Uzma Khan, arrived outside Adiala Jail for a meeting, they were stopped by police officers stationed there.
However, shortly after, jail authorities sent an officer to Imran Khan's sisters and conveyed a message stating that Uzma Khan's name had been agreed upon for the meeting.
After leaving the jail, Uzma reported that her brother Imran was completely fine. The two met for about 20 minutes.
She said Imran Khan was in good health, but he was extremely angry. He is being mentally tortured, and Asim Munir is responsible for all this. Imran has no access to the outside world.
She said she would share further information after speaking with her two sisters, Aleema Khan and Naureen Khan. According to media reports, Uzma had a long conversation with Aleema Khan before the meeting also.
Earlier, Imran's family had claimed that they had not been allowed to meet the former Prime Minister for almost a month. They said, "Government officials do not want Imran Khan's messages to come out of jail."
