Will Akhilesh Yadav's big announcement for women prove to be a game-changer in 2027 UP elections?
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has made a big announcement ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He said that if the Samajwadi Party forms the government in Uttar Pradesh in 2027, he will give Rs 40,000 to the women of the state.
Speaking on a news channel program, Akhilesh Yadav made this announcement while discussing the Grand Alliance's defeat in the Bihar elections. Referring to the previous elections, he told the entire story of giving Rs 40,000 to women. He explained in detail how this money will be arranged.
Akhilesh Yadav asked why there was a change in the Bihar elections. He said that Rs 10,000 is a huge amount. Now, many mothers and sisters are waiting for that 10,000 rupees.
Samajwadi Pension
Akhilesh said that now we too have made preparations for it. I remember that the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh started giving 500 rupees to women through the Samajwadi Pension. In the subsequent elections, we were going to give 1,000 rupees to women. When the Lok Sabha elections came, we were going to give 2,500 rupees.
He said that we won the last election, and now the next election is coming in 2027. So we have learned from the BJP and done the calculations.
Akhilesh said that 3,000 rupees will be given every months, which will bring the total to 36,000 rupees in a year. He further stated that since women haven't received their money for so many years, party is adding 4,000 rupees as interest.
After this announcement, Akhilesh said that if the government is formed with 10,000 rupees, they'll give 40,000 rupees. He further stated that he wants to ask the BJP, "You promised to give lakhs of rupees, where is that money?" Regarding the announcement of 40,000 rupees, Akhilesh said that if all the country's industrialists are in debt, he would borrow from them and give it to poor mothers and sisters.
SP MP from Kannauj, Akhilesh Yadav, said that if someone can become a big industrialist by borrowing money from the world, then the Samajwadi Party government will adopt the same methods to help its mothers and sisters that big industrialists are using.
