Shivpuri: A tigress MT-6 has spread panic in rural areas after venturing outside the park boundaries of the Madhav Tiger Reserve in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. The tigress was spotted roaming in the fields of Sardar Pura village, which borders the park.

During the incident, a dog challenged the tigress, but surprisingly, the tigress didn't even look at it and continued on its way completely unconcerned.

Shortly after this incident, the tigress killed a cow in the field, causing panic among the surrounding villagers. A large number of villagers gathered near the fields, concerned for their safety, and kept a close watch on the tigress's movements.

Meanwhile, the Madhav Tiger Reserve park team remained vigilant at the spot throughout the incident. The team is continuously monitoring tigress MT-6 to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of the villagers and their property.

Villagers say that the movement of tigers outside the park boundaries has increased in the past few days, forcing them to live in fear. They have demanded that the Forest Department keep a strict watch on the tigers' movements and implement robust security measures in rural areas to prevent any major accidents in the future.

Earlier, on January 1, a tigress attacked a villager in Dongar village near Satanwada, which is located on the border of the Madhav Tiger Reserve. The villager was injured in the tigress attack and was admitted to the district hospital.
