Burden on small businesses and hotel industry is increasing
These new rates were implemented just hours before Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget.
Due to continuously rising prices, the financial burden on small businesses and the hotel industry is continuously increasing. Gas prices have increased by a total of approximately Rs 161 from December to February. Market experts believe that these changes may also lead to higher prices for food and beverages in the future.
Business organizations say that rising costs are forcing them to raise prices for their services. Commercial gas prices will also pose significant challenges to mid-day meal and tiffin service providers. Companies have currently targeted the commercial sector, but domestic gas may also face pressure in the future.
