MP: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav participates in local Bhagoria festival in Udaygarh Alirajpur, given a grand welcome by tribal community and locals
Bhopal: MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Bhagoria festival, filled with the colors of the month of Phalgun, the beats of the Mandal, and the exuberance of love for life, is a vibrant celebration of tribal culture, social affection, and traditional values. This can be experienced directly by participating in the Bhagoria festival.
CM Dr. Yadav said that the traditional folk tunes, dances, and joyful atmosphere at the Udaygarh Bhagoria festival site in Alirajpur filled the entire area with cultural colors.
CM Dr. Yadav said that the Bhagoria festival is a symbol of tribal culture, love, and social harmony. The Madhya Pradesh government is fully committed to the preservation and promotion of tribal traditions and is continuously encouraging such cultural events.
This joyous festival was celebrated with dignity and grandeur with a resolve to take heritage on the path of development. This event reflects the strong identity of tribal culture and the sensitive approach of the state government.
Tribal youth and women were seen dressed in colorful traditional attire at the Bhagoria festival. Men wore traditional dhoti, towel, and turban, while women wore kanchali, ghaghra, odhani, and traditional embroidered garments. The tinkling sound of silver necklaces, hansalis, bangles, anklets, toe rings, and other traditional jewelry added grandeur to the festival.
CM was given a grand welcome by the tribal community and local citizens, accompanied by traditional customs and was presented a bow and arrow, a symbol of tribal culture. Administrative officials welcomed CM with a bouquet of flowers.
The tribal community performed folk dances to the beats of Mandal, Dhol and other traditional musical instruments. Their collective joy and mutual harmony made the atmosphere of Bhagoria lively and memorable. An atmosphere of celebration, joy and cultural consciousness prevailed in the entire area.
