Iran-America Tension: Tensions between Tehran and Washington have escalated over Iran's nuclear program. In light of this tension, the Indian Embassy has advised Indian citizens to leave Iran. Citizens have been asked to have their travel and identity documents ready and stay in touch with the Embassy. Amidst the ongoing US-Iran dispute, the Indian Embassy in Tehran has appealed to its citizens to leave Iran.

The Indian government has reiterated the advisory issued in January, when the Khamenei government was cracking down on protests against it.

The advisory from the Indian Embassy states, "In view of the evolving situation in Iran, Indian nationals (students, pilgrims, business people, and tourists) in Iran are advised to leave Iran by available means."
