Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has acquitted Arvind Kejriwal of all charges in the alleged corruption case related to the liquor policy.
The court also acquitted Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
The court's decision came in a case filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The court also made strong comments about the flaws in the CBI's investigation. The court stated that the thousands of pages of the charge sheet contained material that did not support the statements of any witness.
Special Judge Jitendra Singh stated that the charge sheet contained "misleading claims."
The court stated that the CBI failed to establish a prima facie case against Sisodia. Furthermore, the judge stated that Kejriwal was implicated in the case without any substantial evidence.
The Rouse Avenue Court acquitted all 23 accused in the case, including the two leaders.
