Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in his first video statement regarding the US-Israeli attacks on Tehran on Saturday morning, said that Iran must change its regime and dismantle its nuclear program.

Netanyahu appealed to "all segments of the Iranian people" to "throw off the burden of oppression and build a free and peaceful Iran." He said, "Our joint action will create conditions for the brave Iranian people to take their destiny into their own hands."

Netanyahu began his video statement by thanking President Donald Trump "for his historic leadership."

"This murderous terrorist regime must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons that could endanger all of humanity," Mr. Netanyahu said.

Earlier, Netanyahu had also appealed to the Iranian people to speak out against the regime during the 12-day war with Iran in June. 

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a X-post that all activities in the country, except for essential services, will be suspended.

The statement said, "After assessing the situation, it was decided to immediately amend the Home Front Command guidelines, effective 8 a.m. today (Saturday)."

"As part of these changes, only essential services will be allowed to operate in all areas of the country. These guidelines include the suspension of education, public gatherings, and workplaces, except for essential sectors."

It added, "The public must adhere to the guidelines issued on the official Home Front Command channel. The full guidelines will be updated on the National Emergency Portal and the Home Front Command app."

Khamenei Leaves Tehran

According to some media reports, Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei has left Tehran. Rreports said that that he has been taken to a safe location.

Meanwhile, according to some reports, Iranian officials were the main targets of the US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
