Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed investors from Rajasthan during the Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh held in Jaipur on Saturday. He extended greetings to the people of Rajasthan on the state’s foundation day (19 March) and the festival of Gangaur.
Rs 1,650 crore investment in Babai–Mohasa Industrial Area
Manish Gupta, Chairman of Insulation Energy, said that his company has invested about ₹1,650 crore in the Babai–Mohasa Industrial Area in Narmadapuram district, which will generate employment for about 1,000 people.
He said there were no obstacles in establishing the industrial unit across 45 acres of land, as all basic infrastructure such as roads, electricity, and water were already available. The project began in October 2025 and is expected to be fully operational by November–December 2026.
The solar cell manufacturing unit there will be among the best in the country and will contribute to building the energy of the future. He added that industrial development in the state is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Major startup investment from Rajasthan expected in Madhya Pradesh
Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Chairman of Rajasthan Angels, congratulated the Chief Minister and said that significant startup investments from Rajasthan will flow into Madhya Pradesh.
He noted that his company has set up the country’s first tyre recycling plant. In the era of artificial intelligence, data centres require affordable electricity, and Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has shown interest in such investments.
Madhya Pradesh offers industrial electricity at about Rs 4 per unit, making it attractive for investors. He also pointed out that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has visited Rajasthan three times in the last two months to attract investors.
Participation of industry leaders
During the Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh session, Rajneesh Bhandari, Chairman of the Rajasthan unit of Confederation of Indian Industry, praised the policies of the Madhya Pradesh government.
N. K. Jain from the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce thanked all investors participating in the session. Prominent industrialists such as Devendra Singh Shekhawat, Onkar Bageria and Chandramouli Shukla (Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation) were also present.
CM holds one-to-one discussions with industrialists
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also held one-to-one meetings with several industrialists during the Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh in Jaipur.
He invited them to invest in Madhya Pradesh, including Mahavir Pratap Sharma – Chairman, Rajasthan Angel, Anuj Bindal – Head, Mahindra Life Sciences, Manish Gupta – Chairman, Insulation Energy, Suresh Agrawal – President, Federation of Rajasthan Trade & Industries, Devendra Singh Shekhawat – Managing Director, Pratap Group, Saurabh Khandelwal – Director, DGS Trans Logistics, Akshay Hada – Managing Director, Akshay Infrasys Industries, Shravan Sharma – President, Plastic Manufacturers Association, Kailash Khandelwal – President, Hospitality & Tourism Association, Vigyan Lodha – Director, Majestic Basmati Rice Pvt.
