The statement reads, "The most dangerous attack in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran's armed forces will begin within moments against the occupied territories and US terrorist bases."

Trump said, "This is the biggest opportunity ever for the Iranian people to take back their country. We are hearing that many of their IRGC, military officials, and other security and police forces no longer want to fight and are asking for immunity from us. As I said last night, 'They may find protection now, but later they will only find death.'
"Hopefully, the IRGC and police will peacefully unite with Iran's patriots and, as a unit, restore the country to the greatness it deserves. This process must begin soon, because not only has Khamenei died, but the country has been largely devastated, even nearly wiped out, in a single day."
"However, heavy and precise bombing will continue without pause for the entire week, or as long as necessary, so that we can achieve our goal of peace throughout the Middle East and, indeed, the world."
Following claims of Khamenei's death, celebrations were reportedly seen in the Iranian city of Karaj.
