Crowds of people protested Saturday against the war in Iran and President Donald Trump's actions, in “No Kings” rallies across the U.S. and in Europe.

Large crowds participated in "No Kings" demonstrations in several US cities. Protesters voiced their opposition to Trump's policies, rising inflation, and the ongoing conflict with Iran. This was the third wave of "No Kings" protests, following two major events last year.

Large marches took place in major cities

These demonstrations took place across the country. Large marches took place in major cities, while smaller groups gathered in suburban and rural areas. These events were held in both Republican and Democratic states. Protesters chanted slogans, displayed placards, and participated in cultural activities such as singing and dancing.

In New York City, protesters marched through Midtown Manhattan, waving banners against immigration policies, the Trump administration, and the war with Iran.

Large crowd gathered in San Francisco

Meanwhile, a large crowd gathered at Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco and marched towards the Civic Center. They also carried American flags and banners supporting various issues, including Ukraine and transgender rights

A large rally was held in St. Paul, Minnesota, where rock legend Bruce Springsteen performed. He called Minnesota an inspiration to the entire nation and paid tribute to Alex Pretty and Renee Good, who were murdered by federal immigration agents in January of this year.

Springsteen said that attacks on American cities would not be tolerated and that the people's commitment proved that this is still America. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz also strongly criticized federal immigration policies and praised the local communities for standing up.

The governor said that when the man in the White House, seeking to become a dictator, sent his untrained, aggressive officers to Minnesota, the citizens there spoke out for their neighbors, decency, and kindness.

Protests are taking place amid economic challenges, such as rising fuel prices and a slowing economy linked to the war in West Asia. In West Palm Beach, Florida, a verbal altercation broke out between about 50 Trump supporters and protesters. However, most protests remained peaceful and reflected public dissatisfaction with government policies and economic issues.

People in Israel also protest

Meanwhile, people in Tel Aviv, Israel, are also protesting against the war. On Saturday, the police carried out a baton charge against the protesters.
