Reliance Industries to partner in $300 billion oil refinery: What more Trump said while giving this information?
Washington: US President Donald Trump has announced that India's Reliance Industries Group will be a partner in his country's first $300 billion oil refinery to be built in 50 years. Trump shared this information on his social media page, Truth Social.
Trump said, "Thank you to India's largest private energy company, Reliance, for this tremendous investment."
He said further, "America is returning to true energy dominance. Today, I am proud to announce that America First Refining is opening the first new American oil refinery in 50 years in Brownsville, Texas. This is a historic $300 billion deal—the largest in American history. A major victory for the American people, energy, and the people of South Texas."
He added: "It's because of our America First agenda, simplifying permits and lowering taxes, that billions of dollars in deals are coming back to our country."
Trump said a new refinery at the Brownsville Port would boost the US market, strengthen its national security, increase American energy production, and have a billion-dollar economic impact. He said the proposed refinery would be the cleanest in the world.
Reliance Industries has yet to comment on the matter.
