Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami celebrated Uttarakhand's folk festival, 'Phooldei,' with his family at his official residence on Saturday. On this occasion, he extended his greetings to the people of the state on the festival of Phooldei.
The folk festival of Phooldei was celebrated at the Chief Minister's residence with great joy, enthusiasm, and adherence to traditional customs. Children, dressed in traditional attire, offered flowers and rice at the threshold of the house and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of all. The children sang folk songs such as "Phool Dei—Chhamma Dei, Jatuke Diyala—Utuke Sai."

Welcoming the children, Dhami presented them with gifts. He remarked that the folk festival of Phooldei is a celebration dedicated to preserving the state's rich folk culture, traditions, and a sense of reverence for nature.
