Chhattisgarh: Flight Service from Bilaspur to New Delhi to Commence from This Date, See Details
Bilaspur: A direct flight service from the Bilasa Devi Kevat Airport in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, to New Delhi is set to commence on May 3rd.
Being launched by Alliance Air, this flight will initially operate every Sunday, offering passengers the benefit of direct connectivity. Under the new schedule, the aircraft will depart for Delhi at approximately 6:45 PM. The flight is scheduled to arrive in New Delhi at 9:25 PM. There had been a long-standing demand for a direct flight from Bilaspur to Delhi, a demand that is now finally being fulfilled.
The most significant advantage of this service is that passengers will be able to travel comfortably to the capital in the evening after completing their essential works during the day. This will prove particularly convenient for those traveling for business, official government work, or personal reasons.
Operating the flight during the evening hours also offers technical advantages. During the afternoon, high temperatures often necessitate limiting the number of seats on aircraft; however, this issue will no longer arise, allowing the aircraft to fly at its full passenger capacity.
Initially, this service will be available only one day a week; however, plans are in place to increase the frequency to two days a week should passenger numbers rise. This new flight service is expected to yield economic and social benefits not only for Bilaspur but for the entire region. Enhanced air connectivity is also expected to boost opportunities in trade, tourism, and investment.
