Guwahati: Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi has claimed the Orange Cap by delivering an explosive batting performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), smashing 78 runs off just 26 balls.
In the match played on Friday night, Suryavanshi's opening partner, Yashasvi Jaiswal, proved to be just as brilliant as he was. In this game, Jaiswal scored 13 runs off 8 balls, a performance that saw him slip to the second spot on the list of highest run-scorers. However, a mere 17-run gap separates the two, with Jaiswal currently holding a total of 183 runs.
Furthermore, Dhruv Jurel occupies the third spot, ensuring a complete sweep of the top three positions by RR players. Following his 75-run innings against Mumbai Indians, Jurel played another magnificent innings against RCB, scoring an unbeaten 81 runs off 43 balls.
