MP: Grand and divine ‘Shri Parashuram–Shri Krishna Lok’ to be developed at Janapav, unique exhibition on Mahabharata-era weapons and Chakravyuh art to be inaugurated
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced that a grand and divine “Shri Parashuram–Shri Krishna Lok” is being developed at Janapav, the birthplace of Lord Parashuram. The project, with an estimated cost of Rs 17.41 crore, aims to present the life, philosophy, and teachings of Lord Parashuram and Lord Shri Krishna to the public. It is being developed as a major spiritual tourism and cultural center.
On April 19, the Chief Minister will attend the “Parashuram Prakatotsav” at Janapav (Mhow), the sacred birthplace of Lord Parashuram. He will offer prayers at the Parashuram Temple, seeking prosperity and well-being for the state.
On this occasion, CM will also inaugurate a unique exhibition based on Mahabharata-era weapons and the art of Chakravyuh, and participate in local cultural and religious programs.
Parashuram Prakatotsav will showcase a unique blend of art and devotion
The grand celebration of Parashuram Prakatotsav, organized by the Culture Department and Shri Krishna Patheya Nyas, will showcase a unique blend of art and devotion. Renowned singer Sawai Bhatt and his troupe will present devotional music, while the theatrical performance “Parashuram Natya Leela,” written by Pandit Vijay Shankar Mehta and directed by Virendra Kumar, will depict the grandeur of Lord Parashuram’s life. Entry to the event will be free for all.
Bronze statues of Lord Parashuram and Lord Krishna will be installed
Under the Shri Parashuram–Shri Krishna Lok project, bronze statues of Lord Parashuram and Lord Krishna will be installed. A grand 30-foot-high entrance gate, made of stone and metal, will be constructed at Janapav. A dedicated stage for religious discourses and events will also be developed.
A grand museum will be established
The premises will include four gazebos, viewpoints, landscaped areas, pathways, and other development works. A grand museum will be established, showcasing the philosophical and mythological aspects of Lord Krishna’s life.
The Lok will feature five galleries: Weapons Gallery, Origin Gallery, Form Gallery, Balance Gallery and Meditation Gallery. These galleries will depict various aspects and forms of Lord Parashuram and Lord Krishna.
