A re-examination will be conducted for Class 5 and 8 students of Madhya Pradesh who failed or were absent during the main examinations of the 2025-26 academic session. This examination is scheduled to take place between June 1 and June 6, 2026. It will involve Class 5 and 8 students studying in all government, recognized private, and aided schools, as well as registered Madrasas across the state. In this regard, the State Education Centre has already issued detailed guidelines.

Admit Cards Available for Download on the State Education Centre Portal

Students appearing for the Class 5 and 8 re-examination will be able to download their admit cards via the State Education Centre's examination portal: www.rskmp.in. For the re-examination, a facility will be provided on the examination portal allowing School Principals/Heads, Jan Shiksha Kendra In-charges, BRCCs, and DPCs to download the candidates' admit cards using their respective login credentials.

All BRCCs have been directed to ensure that every student within their respective blocks compulsorily receives their admit card through their respective school headmasters by May 25.

Subject-wise remedial teaching to be ensured

Harjinder Singh, Director of the State Education Centre, stated that the issued guidelines explicitly mandate that, prior to the commencement of the re-examination, arrangements for subject-wise remedial teaching must be ensured at the school level for all participating candidates.

Furthermore, in cases where candidates had previously failed to complete their project work—or received a score of less than 7 marks in it—students must be required to complete the project work for the subjects in which they failed or were absent. This project work is to be evaluated at the school level, and the marks obtained are to be entered into the examination portal.

Examination Centres to be Established at the Jan Shiksha Kendra Level

For the Class 5 and 8 re-examination, examination centres will be established exclusively at the Jan Shiksha Kendra level.

Question Papers to be Printed On-Site at Examination Centers

For the re-examination, question papers will be printed on-site exclusively at the designated examination centers. The District Project Coordinator will serve as the Nodal Officer responsible for downloading and printing the question papers from the examination portal.

Necessary Arrangements to be Made for Protection Against the Heat

The State Education Center has issued instructions to ensure the availability of cool drinking water at every examination center. Furthermore, directives have been given to ensure that children are provided with water at regular intervals, and to make Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) and electric fans available at the centers to protect students from heatwaves and dehydration. Additionally, arrangements must be in place to transport any student to the nearest health center or hospital should any health-related complications arise.
