Celebrations in Madhya Pradesh over BJP's lead in West Bengal and Assam, what Shivraj & CM Mohan Yadav said?
Bhopal: Following the Bharatiya Janata Party's lead in the assembly election results, including West Bengal and Assam, BJP workers in Madhya Pradesh are in an upbeat mood. A large number of workers gathered at the state BJP office in Bhopal to celebrate.
State President Hemant Khandelwal said that the Congress party is steadily shrinking from the national map, and the public's trust appears to be in the BJP's favor. During the celebrations, workers and leaders were greeted with jhalmuri (snack), and arrangements were made for firecrackers. Workers were seen dancing and singing to the beats of drums.
Fulfillment of a resolution: Shivraj
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that as a worker, he is emotional today, and that this is like the fulfillment of a resolution. He described it as the result of public trust and a long struggle.
State Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya also appeared emotional and said that the joy is difficult to express in words. He said that the workers continued their struggle despite adverse circumstances, and now the results are visible.
Festive atmosphere in Ujjain's Bengali colony
Similarly, a festive atmosphere was observed in Ujjain's Bengali colony due to the BJP's victory. Women celebrated by blowing conch shells in the traditional manner and celebrated collectively. Local workers also congratulated each other by distributing sweets.
Defeat of arrogance and victory of nationalism: CM
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in Gwalior, said that the state is experiencing a festive atmosphere akin to Holi and Diwali. He described it as the defeat of arrogance and the victory of nationalism. Referring to West Bengal, he said that the people there have expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and supported the BJP for development.
He alleged that public dissatisfaction with infiltration and chaos in West Bengal had led voters to decide on change. He expressed confidence that this would give a new impetus to development in the state.
Dr. Yadav said that this result reflects the public's faith in the resolve for a developed India and that the country is continuously progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He expressed confidence that development in West Bengal will now gain new momentum.
Counting of votes is underway for a total of 824 assembly seats in five states: West Bengal (294 seats), Tamil Nadu (234 seats), Kerala (140 seats), Assam (126 seats), and Puducherry (30 seats).
