Petrol and diesel prices hiked for third time in 10 days, CNG price also rises, check new rates

Petrol and diesel prices across the country have been hiked once again. In Delhi, petrol has become 87 paise costlier, reaching Rs 99.51 per liter. Diesel prices have gone up by 91 paise per liter, reaching Rs 92.49.

Additionally, CNG prices in Delhi-NCR have increased by Rs 1 per kilogram. Following this revision, CNG will now be available in Delhi at Rs 81.09 per kg. This marks the third price hike in the last 10 days. Prior to this, the government had raised CNG prices by Rs 2 on May 15, followed by another hike of Rs 1 on May 18.

This marks the third hike in fuel prices within a span of just nine days. Four days ago, on May 19, petrol and diesel prices were raised by an average of 90 paise per liter. Furthermore, on May 15, prices had witnessed an increase of Rs 3 per liter. All in all, within the last 10 days, your pocket has borne an additional burden of about Rs 5 per liter.
