A seemingly ordinary man emerging from the anti-corruption movement was challenging the most powerful political parties in the country.
But today, the picture has changed.
Once the undisputed face of Delhi politics, Kejriwal now appears to be fighting for political relevance and survival. Delhi is no longer under his control, his party is under pressure, senior leaders appear uneasy, and legal battles continue to overshadow his politics.
There was a time when Kejriwal asked the questions.

Delhi Lost, Aura Lost?
Delhi was once considered Arvind Kejriwal’s political fortress.
His governance model based on free electricity, water, education, and healthcare had made him one of the biggest faces of opposition politics in India.
But after losing power, Kejriwal now appears to be playing defensive politics.
The man who once spoke of “new politics” now finds himself constantly forced to defend his own image and credibility.
Courts, Allegations, and an Aggressive BJP
The Delhi excise policy case continues to haunt Kejriwal politically.
Even though he received relief from a lower court, the legal battle is far from over.
The BJP continues to attack him aggressively on corruption allegations, while Kejriwal insists the cases are politically motivated attempts to crush the opposition.
But for the public, the debate is no longer just legal — it has also become moral.
The politics that began in the name of honesty now faces questions over its own credibility.
Is Everything Fine Inside AAP?
The Aam Aadmi Party is no longer just an activist movement.
After years in power, it now faces many of the same internal challenges that it once criticised in traditional parties.
Internal disagreements, leadership tensions, and constant political pressure have weakened the organisation.
Several old faces no longer appear as energetic or confident as before.
Is Kejriwal Finished?
Perhaps not.
Indian politics has repeatedly seen leaders make dramatic comebacks after being written off.
And Kejriwal’s greatest political strength has always been his ability to reinvent himself.
He remains a powerful speaker.
His politics still resonates with sections of the urban poor and middle class.
And in anti-BJP politics, his name still carries weight.
But the Real Test Begins Now
Once, Kejriwal built his politics by fighting “the system.”
Now, he must prove that he can survive when the system appears to be fighting him back.
Today, Arvind Kejriwal stands at a political crossroads.
One path could slowly push him toward political irrelevance.
The other could help him reinvent himself yet again as a major national player.
But one thing is certain —
the story of Arvind Kejriwal in Indian politics is far from over.
