MP: CM Mohan Yadav Expresses Delight After Seeing Attractive Space-Themed Setup, Rocket Models and Spark Astronomy Lab, Interacts With Students in Indore

Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav interacted with students at the Government Sharda Girls Higher Secondary School near Bada Ganpati in Indore as part of the ‘School Chale Hum’ campaign. He inspected the school’s state-of-the-art and visually impressive astronomical laboratory. 

The Chief Minister discussed various astronomical instruments, the observatory and scientific models with the students and asked them what they aspired to become in the future. He also appreciated their scientific aptitude and curiosity. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed delight after seeing the attractive space-themed setup, rocket models and the ‘Spark Astronomy’ Lab. He also visited the smart classrooms and held a warm interaction with the students.

Students shared their ambitions, goals and dreams 

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav engaged in informal conversations with the girls in the smart classrooms. He asked them, in a friendly manner, how they wished to contribute to the nation and society in the future. The students enthusiastically and confidently shared their ambitions, goals and dreams based on their individual interests. Wishing them a bright future, CM encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. He also discussed their family backgrounds, study arrangements, school attendance and various aspects of their education.



Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the State Government is committed to modernising government schools and providing daughters with every possible opportunity in education, science and technology. He said that the establishment of such advanced astronomical laboratories in government schools is a significant step toward realising the objectives of the National Education Policy.

CM encouraged children to keep learning, and constantly expand their knowledge

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav further said that with growing opportunities in science and technology, students need to develop innovation and scientific thinking. He encouraged children to remain curious, keep learning, and constantly expand their knowledge. The Chief Minister also urged students to study diligently, set ambitious goals in life and work persistently to achieve them.

Astronomy Lab Designed around the theme of univertse

The students confidently explained the various astronomical instruments, telescopes, and systems used for tracking constellations and planets available in the laboratory. The ‘Spark Astronomy’ Lab has been designed attractively around the theme of the universe.



The laboratory features interactive charts and models demonstrating lunar and solar eclipses, the water cycle, volcanic activity and the internal structure of the Earth. It also showcases rocket and satellite models, working models explaining the human body, demonstrations of the laws of gravity, and information about the International Space Station. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav was particularly impressed by the attractive murals depicting the solar system.

Students, including Prachi Jain, Vanshika Prajapat, Gauravi Pahariya, Mohini Karolia, and Harshita Verma, showcased their scientific and astronomical models to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and briefed him on their concepts and working mechanisms.
